Hello my dear nomnomnoshers, how I have missed you! I have had the great pleasure of catering for two private function to celebrate some very special occasions, but nomnomnosh is back to normal and the webshop is ready for your orders. By popular request tabbouleh is making a return - a fantastic mix of flavours and textures, and also a great nutritional mix for a happy gut!
I strongly believe that how we fuel ourselves has a massive impact on both our mental and physical well being. I know that if I eat too much sugar I feel quite hungover the next day. If I have not been eating my greens I have a huge craving for broccoli!! Of course none of this explains my daily craving for chocolate which is more of a bad habit than a bodily need! A few years ago I made a conscious decision to drink more water (I would rather eat my calories than drink them!) and I always have a glass of water on the go. The other thing that I consider when I am planning my day's food is that not all calories are equal. 250 calories of cake are not the same as 250 calories of avocado! It is also very important not to get too het up about what we do or do not eat, and if you listen to your body it will tell you what it needs. And this usually isn't chips! But hey, we are only human as my far from perfect figure will testify!
