I forecast lashings of rice pudding......

Greetings nomnomnoshers, hooray the end of january is in sight. Sadly it looks like there will be several grey, cold days ahead. I am sure I really should move to a warmer clime, but as that is not possible the next best thing is to do is to make sure there is comfort food is within easy reach.
I love rice pudding and have happy memories of bowls of the stuff with a dollop of jam in the middle. Delicious! But here is a slightly more grown up version - infused with lemon zest and studded with juicy sultanas. What's not to like? Hot, cold - eat it your way, and it's ok to have for breakfast!
With restrictions lifting in the next few days it will be nice to get out and about a bit more. Baskerville's on Whiting Street in Bury St Edmunds is now serving a small choice of nomnomnosh dishes at the weekends, so why not treat yourself to a lunch out? You will be sure to have a warm welcome, a choice of delicious hot and cold drinks, and there are delicious cakes to choose from to round off your meal.
I am always happy to hear any suggestions you might have for future dishes you would like, why not let me know what you would like me to cook?
Love and peas and I hope you are keeping safe and warm..... xx
