Dear nomnomnoshers, I trust you are all bloomin' marvellous and enjoying your summer.
I have news!! nomnomnosh will be cooking a delicious 3 course supper to be held at my vegan friend Baskerville's on Whiting Street on 11th August. There will be 3 courses of yumminess - beetroot, walnut and wasabi dip, spiced cannellini beans with a saag aloo topping, and a scrumptious fruited ginger cake with raspberry coulis, you will also be given a welcome drink on arrival - and all this for £25!
Tickets can be booked here https://www.baskervilles.uk/whats-on-events
Places are limited so don't delay! It's going to be a great evening!
My little veggie patch at the bottom of the garden is producing produce. Now there's a surprise! French beans, potatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, rhubarb and the promise of enough butternut squash the entire county to come. There is something magical about eating things that you have grown yourself, and we all know that veggies are magic. I have read recently that the recommended 5 a day should be 10 a day. I wonder how many of us can do this every day?
That's enough from me, don't forget to pencil in the 11th August in your diaries and I look forward to seeing you then.
